Relay is a kanban board built for handoffs. Some stages are yours, some belong to the AI. It works in the open, asks when it's unsure, and waits for your call.
By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
You decide which stages people run and which the AI runs. Finished work lands in a Done column, ready for the next owner to pull it forward.
Human stages are yours. Queue work, review AI output, approve or send it back — nothing ships without a person.
AI stages pull ready work automatically, show live progress, and hand finished cards forward — you watch it happen.
When the AI hits a decision it can't make, the card blocks and waits. You answer inline; it picks up where it left off.
The AI would rather ask than assume. Blocked cards surface right on the board with a clear prompt — the whole team can see what's waiting on a human, and for how long.
Cards can start in a Design stage. The AI drafts real mockups right onto the card, and you flip through the options and pick one. Approve sends it on to spec. Request changes sends it back with your note, and the next round starts from what you said.
Handoffs alternate between people and AI. WIP limits keep any one stage from piling up.
Rename stages, reorder them, set who owns each, cap the WIP, and add a Done sub-column wherever finished work needs to wait for a handoff. No two teams relay the same way.
